3D hole-to-hole IP survey

H2H-3D-IP offers greater flexibility than conventional drilling. The induced polarization, a 3D hole-to-hole configuration, increases the detection radius around and below the boreholes, compared to what can be achieved with a conventional BHIP drilling survey.

  • Exploring targets under a conductive overburden

  • Exploring for large radius of investigation and under the end of drill holes

  • Measuring in-situ physical properties for resistivity and loadability

  • Increase the value of drilling exploration

This technique can be used to measure the chargeability between drill holes. It offers the possibility of making a 3D model when the readings are made between several pairs of boreholes. It can also be used to detects deeper anomalies than the end of drill holes.
