3D hole-to-hole IP survey
H2H-3D-IP offers greater flexibility than conventional drilling. The induced polarization, a 3D hole-to-hole configuration, increases the detection radius around and below the boreholes, compared to what can be achieved with a conventional BHIP drilling survey.
Exploring targets under a conductive overburden
Exploring for large radius of investigation and under the end of drill holes
Measuring in-situ physical properties for resistivity and loadability
Increase the value of drilling exploration
This technique can be used to measure the chargeability between drill holes. It offers the possibility of making a 3D model when the readings are made between several pairs of boreholes. It can also be used to detects deeper anomalies than the end of drill holes.
