Apparently, geophysicists just love burying us in jargon! After the nanoTeslas (Elon’s tiny cars?), they throw MUONS and ANT at us. Enough to make you QSPIN, and before we’re completely fed up with their MEMS and ready to turn our backs on them, I find myself being detected by an ARMIT and chased by DasVision-3D. It’s too much, even for them: they give up on interpretation and call in AI for help.
Thankfully, some people have understood our predicament as geologists and can break down all these new technologies for us, allowing us to decide whether they could actually be useful to us or not. Otherwise, I’ll have an anatexis meltdown the next time someone tries to intimidate me with their nerdy jargon, and I’ll turn them into a silent migmatite.
Come in large numbers and help me tell them what we think of their black box and incomprehensible jargon. Bring your tomatoes, just in case!
