Once again this year, the Québec Mineral Exploration Association (QMEA) offers a wide-ranging, practical program for its Explo Abitibi event being held from May 28th to 30th, 2019, at Hotel Forestel in Val d’Or.
On the schedule: Trade show, conference dinner, geological tourand workshops. In fact, Abitibi Geophysics is leading a day-long workshop on May 29th.
Mr. Pierre Bérubé, President of Abitibi Geophysics, and Mrs. Nadine Veillette, Geophysicist for Business Development, will lead the workshop titled “Emerging Geophysics Methods: Applications and Examples”.
Description of the workshop
An invention that is not used is not an innovation. In mining exploration, an invention finds its merit as an innovation when it is applied by the exploration community. And to be applied, innovations must offer added value to existing methodologies. For instance, in terms of operation safety, depth of investigation or acquiring several complementary parameters simultaneously. An overview of some recent developments that can qualify as innovations will be presented.
Please feel free to have a look at the complete description of the workshop.
